I'm not sure how you determined Stratton's entry to be in error. He wrote "Eight veteran's re-enlisted in the field". Stratton then named four men along with "Four Indians". The entry is simple and clear. Eight men, four of whom were Indians.
Where is Stratton's error?
The most obvious choice for Indians credited to Alburg would be Swanton or St Francis Abenaki.
