LOYALIST PETITION FOR LANDS IN QUEBEC 9 JANUARY 1787

To the Right Hon. Guy Lord Dorchester...Agreeable to the petition prepared by Hon. Levi Allen to your Lordship in behalf of himself and associates, we the subscribers ancient Loyalists being very desirous of settling in His Majesty's province of Quebec, under the auspicious Government of Great Britain, most humbly pray for a grant of land for said purpose. (dated) January 9, 1787
