Samuel Chadwick, born 1769, married Elizabeth Pierce in Putney, VT in 1789 and they moved to the Fletcher/Fairfax, Vermont area where they remained until 1814. They then moved to Granville, Licking Co., OH where Samuel died on August 11, 1820.
During their stay in Vermont, several other Chadwick families were living in the Fletcher/Fairfax area: Eunice Chadwick (married Peter Thurston); Moses Chadwick, Peter Chadwick, David Chadwick, William Chadwick.
Some contend Samuel Chadwick was the son of William Chadwick and Eunice Goss. Does anyone have any PROOF of this? Also, does anyone know the relationship among the various Chadwicks living in Fletcher/Fairfax?
