Census records can have many errors in spelling and in ages. Keeping that in mind I looked at Milton, VT 1860 and I do see a family that has children named Mary 15, Joseph 12, Clara 7, Fanny 4 and Cornelia 3. Cornelia could have died after 1860 and Louise may have been born just after the census. Also possible is that her name was actually Cornelia Louise. The parents are named John and Mary, but their ages are hard to read and seem to be inconsistent with the ages of the children. I think it's more than a coincidence this family of John & Mary has children named Joseph, Clara & Fanny similar in age to yours. The last name is written as Russell, but the parents are born in Canada so it may have been Rousselle or some form of that name. It's just a family you should keep in mind as you search. I will look around a bit more and see what I can find.
