Charles Durocher

My Grandfather on my mother's side was named, Charles Durocher, who died in Bennington, Vermont in the late 50's and was buried in North Adams, MA. I once read an old book about Samuel DeChamplain, that I found in the Bennington (VT) Library, which described a Sergeant who's name was Charles Durocher.

I don't know much about the Durochers, but I do know that his wife Eva's parents came down into the States in the 1890's from Quebec Canada. There are a lot of French named relatives with such names Tabarge, LaRouche, and LaFlamme --according to my late monther, Jacqueline Mae (Durocher) Allard.
