Well, I got more info. P. Orman Ray, My grandfather's brother, was b. 1875 Vt., d. 1957, Berkeley, Ca. Seems he was a Professor Emeritis of Political Sciences at U.C.-Berkeley. In a Berkeley profile article after his death, it states he wrote the basics for what we use as political sciences in this country, and collaborated with another person named Ogg. Evidently, lots of political sciences people refer to the books of Ogg and Ray. Orman is THAT Ray. Orman had two daughters, one became a Catholic nun, with the Dominican Convert of San Raphael, Ca. I called the order a day ago, and spoke with a very nice lady, who was to call me back if she had any info on Sister May Domenic. I got a call back in about 30 minutes, not the same lady, but the Mother Superior, and I went through the whole genaeology thing. She said they had a file, but I should come there to view it, as it would be hard for them to copy it and send it. I figured Sister May was a really bad nun or something. No chance. the Mother Superior then told me the file was 3 inches thick, had pictures and lot of info on Sister May, and her life's work. It seems Sister May had passed away a number of years ago, and was in life, THE foremost expert in the world of early American music. I have another of Orman's daughters to locate, sure she is gone now, but relatives may still be in the Marin County, Ca. area. Her name in 1957 was Mrs. Rosalind Wilkin, San Anselmo, Ca. This is just amazing, thanks again, all, you helped me find family I did not know I had, and that is priceless. Notify Administrator about this message?
