Hi J.
I think you tried to help me before with a email address for the Vermont Hist. Society or something but the email address bounced back.
I haven't found his actual Birth registration in order to Order it....All I know is his birth date from his death registration and that he was supposedly born in Orange.
I have a book/manuscript by Betty Post who did all the Soldiers roster etc. and William Mills b. Sept 7, 1815 isn't in it.Some people have tried to give William to my line of Moses Mills but Moses did have a brother William..but so far not proof has been found.I don't think William is my Moses Mills's son but we need to prove it.The Reuben Mills married to Louisa IS the brother of my Moses. With the help of Betty Post's book on the Early Mills of Vermont, I can go back a few more generations to the late 1600's.It's just this William who is such a hard one to find parent for.
I really do appreciate your help.Heck I'd pay the $10 just for his birth registration and parents.:))Even if he's not my line.At least that way, I could give proof to the places who flippently put it on my line just for fun...ha ha.
Thanks again,
Shelley (nee Mills)
