From my research as a Packer/Fish descendant and as one of the writers of the Halifax, Vermont Town History, currently in progress, I can assure you that among the six marriages between the progeny of Benjamin Henry, Esq. and Nathan Fish, Esq. who were neighbors in early Halifax, Benjamin's eldest son, James Henry, married Nathan's eldest daughter, Catherine Fish.
I would appreciate learning more about Phebe Henry Clark. A photograph of her grandmother will appear in the book, courtesy of another Fish/Henry descendant. And of course, the role of the Henry and Fish families in the town of Halifax will be covered in great detail. The pre-Revolutionary Benjamin Henry house is featured in the historic houses section of the book.
This project has been in the works for more than a dozen years and is nearing completion. I would be happy to put you on the list of those who wish to be notified when the book has actually gone to press.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Constance Lancaster
