Hi Lynne,
It appears Caleb WHITE moved out-of-state before 1812.He is not listed as a soldier in the WAR of 1812-14 Roster of Vermont soldiers.By 1814 the entire male population of Vermont-aged from sixteen to sixty-volunteered for service on the occasion of the invasion of Plattsburg, [NY].
Please let me know if you would like me to transcribe military data for David WHITE.

Served in Capt. Saxe's Company, Col. Wm. Wlliams' Regt. Detached Militia in U.S. service 4 months and 24 days, 1812.
