This may or may not be of help to you, but in doing research in the town of Moira, Franklin County, NY, I have come across the name Manning. The name is connected to the family of Kendrick and Lucinda Mallory who lived in that area. Their daughter married a Mr. Manning who may have been married prior to that marriage.
