I have found this to be true from my own Rodier/Rogers records (actually Rogue/Royer/Rodier/Rogers records)and it has been difficult to find anything.

What I'm wondering is: Assuming the children were born at home, then taken to Quebec to be baptized, were the births ever even recorded in the U.S. records at all. I know that St. Mary's Parish in Swanton lost all its early to mid-1880's records, but would there be civil records somewhere in Swanton to help me prove my suspected known ancestors from this area????

Mr. Lesperance: You have helped me before a long time back, and I hope you can again.

Ann Rogers, So. Burlington, VT
