Manning family

Searching for my gr, gr, grandmother Polly Manning. She was born in Canada in 1829. Both of her parents were born in Vermont and I do not know their names. I would imagine that her parents were born sometime between 1789 and 1810. I've seen several Mannings listed on the early census around this time for Franklin county in Vermont but, being early census, they only have the head of household listed. I'm hoping that someone may have information on Polly Manning. Maybe the name rings a bell with someone? She named her sons Alaric (sp?), Delbert, Cleveland, Vertner - possibly a clue to someone? The sons were all born in NY where she spent much of her adult life. She is undoubtly at least part native american. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
