Forgot to mention

Guillelmus McKloskey [ie: William McCloskey)& Elisabeth Orelly (O'Reilly)were listed as the God parents of Benjamin Bernard Meigs s/o Margaret McCloskey & Harvey Meigs, May 28, 1876, Swanton. This Benjamin Meigs died November 21, 1907 in Swanton, age 31 yrs

Maria Ann McClosthey [Mary Ann McCloskey]was godmother of niece, Mary Meigs on October 22, 1871 in Swanton -- this confirms that Mary Ann remained unmarried as of that date. Note that the godfather was Timothy Barney.
John Banrey was the godfather of second child Edward Meigs(A clue or coincidence? Remember the marriage record gives Hugh's wife's maiden name as Barney.)

Another record gives Margaret's husband as Harrison Steven Meigs. I believe I have found the latter name in census records
