From the "History of Dane County, Wisconsin-1880": Sereno GRAVES, born in Berkshire, Franklin Co, VT in Oct 1810 to David J & Polly (LELAND) GRAVES. Polly GRAVES died in Berkshire, VT in 1817. Sereno married Marinda BLAKESLY in Wethersfield, VT in March 1841. She died in 1842. He married Marvina DENISON in Burke, Caledonia Co, VT. They moved to Rutland, Dane Co, WI in July 1845. Marvina died in Dec 1845, leaving one son, A. Denison GRAVES. Sereno married a third time to Mary R DUDLEY, nee REED, daugther of Silas & Hannah REED, of Plainfield, NH. They had five children: Ellen, Leland J., Mary L., Sereno J. & Marinda B.
