I can't answer your question but may be able to give you a clue. Rev. William Arthur (father of Pres. Chester A. Arthur) was a minister in the Free Will Baptist Church. It is my understanding that he had moved to Fairfield, VT in 1829 and preached at the N. Fairfield Baptist Church. If there is a Baptist Church in Sheldon, I'd look there. If you don't find it there I check in N Fairfield. Good luck in your search.
