Hi Rudy,
"Ephraim HARTSHORN of Danville, Caledonia County, VT, served in Capt. Morrill's Company, Col. Fifield's Regt. Detached Militia in U.S. service 3 months and 2 days, 1812. Served from May 1st to June 30, 1814 in capt. Haig's Corps of Ligh Dragoons."

Other soldiers without town of residence listed were:
~Darius HARTSHORN,
~Corporal David HARTSHORN,
~Leonard HARTSHORN,
~Silas HARTSHORN m. Dorcas, Pension no. 30128, and
~William HARTSHORN.

"State of Vermont ROSTER OF SOLDIERS IN THE WAR OF 1812-14", prepared and published under the direction of Herbert T. Johnson, The Adjutant General, 1933, page 204.

Sorry, I do not know if any of the soldier's listed above are related to your HARTSHORN family. They are not my ancestors and military data is that I have. Jan
