Nathaniel Collins of the Town of Manchester, Bennington County, VT, wrote his will on January 12, 1825. In this will he lists his grand children: Perlina Smith, Nathaniel Smith, Anna Smith, now Anna Hix, Maria Smith, Elijah Smith, John Smith, Claracy Smith, and Ansom Smith all of Manchester.
Does anyone have any information on these children?
Silas Smith was born on March 1, 1781 in the Town of Manchester. He married Mercy Collins who died on August 30, 1824. He married his second wife, Adalina Carr/Case on July 4, 1826.
From what I have been told, all of the above listed children were born into this household. I would like to learn whatever happened to these children. For example, "Anson" was a name used in this family for many generations by the descendants of Silas Smith's siblings.
