It was an old query but I just discovered it. There was a Baptist church in Bridport organized 8 Mar 1804 and disbanded in 1877. There is no pastor of record from 1817 to 1820 but here is a list of others found in Crocker's History of Baptists in VT:

CHAMBERLAIN, HENRY       1806-12
STARKWEATHER, ELISHA       1812-16
RAVIN, THOMAS Co-Pastor       1820-23
SAWYER, EPHRAIM Co-Pastor       1820-23
MERRIAN, JONATHAN       1824-33
FLETCHER, S.              1834-35
TOWNS, E. D.               1836-37
KIMBALL, L.              1839
HARVEY, ALFRED       1840-42
SPERRY, O.               1843
BALDWIN, JONATHAN       1844
BRYANT, ROBERT       1845
WRIGHT, J. K.               1850-60
GREENE, C. R.              1861-64
BLAISDELL, W. S.       1867-70
