Hi Gilbert,
I am also tracking a Williams family that moved from Vermont to Otsego then Genesee NY, with a Sarah born 1806 in NY (her father was born in VT and mother in MA.) This Sarah Williams married Joel Doolittle on 3 July 1828 in Preble County Ohio. The Doolittle family lived in Shoreham VT for 1790 thru 1810, census, then Essex County NY for 18120, then Genesee County for 1830 and then Joel, brothers and nephew went to Ohio and Indiana.
I have no idea who Sarah Williams' family was but I am working on a Joseph Williams who was born 12 Dec 1765, Vermont, Died: 12 May 1847 in Bridport,Addison,Vermont.
Married 8 Apr 1789 to Molly Gray in Bridport.
Molly was born: 1767-02-22 in Fitchburg,Worcester,Massachusetts,USA
Died: 1824-03-05 Bridport,Addison,Vermont,USA
They had at least one son Lampson born 28 Sep 1804 in Bridport, died 20 Dec 1878 in Fort Scott, Kansas, who had 7 children. I don't know if this is the right family for Sarah or for your person but if it sounds familiar, holler back.
