Nancy, here is what I have on Zenas. It was a responce of my message in the Emerson Family Forum from Steve Mishkit.
"We have a memorial iron bridge in Gainsville(Kingston) Vt. that was placed there by Harry Wheelock King in 1903 in memory of his father Zenas King who was the premier iron bridge builder in the USS. The plaque on the bridge said that he was born near that spot. He left town in 1825 with his father Moses and Uncle Amasa. Daniel is or was married to Hannah and they were the first tohave a child in the town of Kingston by the name of Henry. He was born in 1788. Allan Sloan King who is Zenas's GtGtGt grandson has a web sight on the King Bridge company. Check it out.his email address is MOOGSLOAN@aol.com
