I hope you have already found this info but I just found a copy of obit for Arthur H. Smalley (no date of death, about 1957).
Bristol, Jan 31, Arthur H. Smalley, 83, a member of the Methodist Church and for many years a member of the Bristol band, died at his home here today.
He was born Dec 8, 1874, in Waterbury Center, the son of Alfred and Ollie (Stockwell) Smalley.
Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Flora (Derby) Smalley; three daughters, Mrs Mildred Tatro of Burlington, Mrs Gertrude Cox of Middlebury and Miss Ollie Smalley of Bristol; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held here Sunday a 2 p.m. at the Federated Church with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call tomorrow from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home.
