I am seeking more information on James Andrews who served in the Revolutionary War in Connecticut. His pension application dated 1818 states he was born in 1754, and I now know he died in Addison County, Vermont 5 May 1836 (could be 5 May 1838). He was married to Lois (nee Case) Norton, widow of Job Norton, in Middlebury, Addison County, Vermont on 21 April 1792. It is likely he was married previous to Lois. Lois Andrews filed for James' Revolutionary War pension after James' death, and then Lois died in Addison County, Vermont about 1848. Her children applied for James' pension after her death. Lois Andrew's parents were Asahel Case and Dorothy Phelps, and her brother, who also lived in Addison County, Vermont, was Nathan Case. Nathan was a Revolutionary War veteran who served in Connecticut, and who filed for his pension from Addison County, Vermont, like James Andrews. Who were James Andrews' parents/siblings? Who was his first wife, if he was married previous to Lois (nee Case) Norton? And who were his children? And who were the children of Job Norton and Lois Case? Who were the parents/siblings of Job Norton? Notify Administrator about this message?
