Peter, thank you, that would be great . I have had good luck with the town hall in Orwell. The town clerks office was excellent in helping me. However, I hit a road block at the church. Is there a way of getting records from them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am looking for the decendants of Michael Sullivan and Johanna Carty Sullivan, both born around 1800, moved to Orwell with thier children,Patrick,Michael,John, and Margaret around 1865.Margaret married John Cronin in Ireland, so she was a Cronin when she came over. Patrick is my g-g-grandfather. He married Ellen Enright.(I'm not sure if in Orwell or Ireland.) Ellen had my g-grandmother,Mary Elizabeth Sullivan in 1870 and Ellen Sullivan in 1871. She died right after that. In 1880 they are living with the grandparents.
I have no death dates on the eldest Sullivans. I am looking for that and clues as to thier town of origin in Ireland.
Actually any info the church may have I am looking for.
Also, is there a listing of the graves in town?
Anyway,I'll stop now. I don't want to overdue it.
Thank you and regards. Merry Christmas,Jerry Earnshaw
