Hi Scott,
"Nathaniel JOHNSON or JOHNSTON of Highgate, Franklin County, VT, served in Capt. Conrade Saxe's Company, Col. Wm. Williams' Regt. Detached Militia in U.S. service 4 months and 24 days, 1812. Served in New York State from Sept. 25 to Nov. 15, 1813 in Capt. Elijah Wood's Company, Dixon's Regt. Also served in Corning's Detachement."

Source is "State of Vermont ROSTER OF SOLDIERS IN THE WAR OF 1812-14", prepared and published under the direction of Herbert T. Johnson, The Adjutant General, 1933, page 244.
