Hi Jan,
There are 5 John Lewis soldiers listed in the Roster of the War of 1812-14:
~John LEWIS of Poultney, VT
~John LEWIS
~John LEWIS, Ensign, of Richford, VT
~John LEWIS
~John LEWIS of Orwell, VT.
There is also an Orange LEWIS.
Please let me know if you would like me to transcribe any of these soldier's data.
