Seeking any information and ancestry for my great-grandmother Mary BOARDMAN, b. Bet. 1870 - 1871 in Westport, NY, supposedly child of Peter BOARDMAN and Hattie REILLY/KELLEY or something similar. She married Peter BOOSKA (Pierre Bousquet) who was born Dec 01, 1844 in Lacolle, Québec, son of Jean-Baptiste Bousquet and Elisabeth (Isabel) Lamarre. Peter and Mary had at least 11 children, all born in or around Bristol, Addison, Vermont. Peter died in 1916. Mary married Nelson Santaw in 1922 in Bristol, Vermont. She died 1950-1951 and was buried in the Mount St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol, Vermont. Mary was part Indian, probably at least half. Have been unable to find anything on her or her parents as listed on her death certificate. Could the name have been BOURDON or some other name that was Americanized to BOARDMAN?
