David; If you haven't already done so, you might contact the Town Clerks of the surrounding towns- Whiting, Orwell, and Bridport- they have their own post offices and postal codes. Cornwall uses Middlebury's zip code, but that town, too, might be of use. The town boundaries weren't always set and the towns fully settled. I don't know what the records of the Shoreham Congregational Church might contain, it might worth a stamp to write and ask. Sometimes, births, etc. weren't always reported. Ha ve you tried the General Services building in Middlesex, Vt. where all such records are files? I have no idea where you live. Do you think there might be burials here in the area? Forrest
