Charlotte, The closest name I can find is Goodsell Clark of New Haven Vermont. The book was written in 1882 so this may be your Goodsil's grandfather. Goodsell lived in the north part of New Haven, in a section that has Ferrisburg to the west, Monkton to the north and Bristol to the east. He was a laborer that lived on road #5 that is not there any longer.
