I have been looking for the parents and siblings of Jeremiah
Vradenburgh for about twenty years.He just seems to have appeared from nowhere.He was born in NY (city or state?)between 1795 and 1797.He died in 1868 in Fredericton,NB,CA.
He married twice -first to Mary Smith in 1818.She died in 1823.There is some evidence that they may have had a son born in Saint John NB in 1819.John Wesley died in 1847.
His 2nd marriage was to Hannah Bulyea in Queens Co.,NB,CA.
They had two sons and a daughter that I know of.One of their sons,Henry Albert Vradenburgh was my Gr.grandfather.
I have recently found some little snippets of information that lead me to believe that Jeremiah may be the same person as Jeremias Vredenburgh,b 1795 in NY.His parents were Jeremias Vredenburg and Catherina Bitzer.If my thinking is correct he is the third
Jeremiah in a line.I have not found any Jeremias anywhere else.
I would love it and be forever grateful if there is someone out there who could enlighten me.
