While working on my gggrandmother, a Vose, I ran across the following book Robert Vose & His Descendants by Ellen Vose & printed 1932. According to this book, Edward Vose b England 1636 and came to the colonies with his parents. He married Abigail Sharp, whose brother John married Edward's sister Martha. If this sounds like your Edward, you might look for the book in a genealogical collection locally.
