Re Vosburgh's in Missisquoi Quebec.
I hope I can answer at least one of your questions even though it is nearly 6 years since you posted this. I just found this site today.
You asked about the Abel Vosburgh family that died in 1960. They all perished in a fire that Abel was accused of starting but he died before he was brought to trial. It was a very sad time for the remaining family who were all away at the time. I think there were 3 or 4 that were not in the house at the time all of whom are still alive.
My greatgrandparents are in the St Thomas cemetery in Noyan. They were Alonzo Vosburgh (son of Albert Vosburgh and Emily Westover) and Susan Draffin( wife #1 and Nora Taylor (wife # 2)Also in the Noyan cemetery NOT Clarenceville are my grandparents George Vosburgh and Ina Vosburgh (son Arthur Vosburgh) and my father Leonard born January 29 1918 who is still alive.
We also have relatives in the Alburg VT cemetery along with many others in the area.
Our ancestor Abraham Pietersen Vosburgh was born in the Netherlnds in 1629 married Geertrugt Pieters Coeymans and died in 1659 in Esopuo(sp) N.Y. I have a partial family tree from Pieter Jaboise Vosburgh father of Abraham Pietersen Vosburgh that was done by a relative Gary Vosburgh in New York state but was never completed.
I hope this has been some help to you.I moved from Noyan to Montreal in 1954 and still reside here but do go to visit the cemetery in Noyan every year.
