My ggggrandmother was Polly Vosburg born 10 March 1793 in Amsterdam NY. Parents were John Vosburgh and Elizabeth Richmond. Polly married William Smith Jr. 11 April 1810 and died 21 Nov. 1867. They lived in Sparta, MI and had at least 2 children, Denton Smith 1823-1865 and Clarissa Smith, 1829-1905. Clarissa Smith and Joseph Lown were my ggrandparents. There is a ton of stuff on the web for the Vosburg family. Happy hunting.
