De Vos dates back to the 15th - 16th century. Family of artists. Cornelius de Vos, Martin or Maarten De Vos have paintings in the Louve in Paris. They trained with Ruben and Floris. Very prominet family. From Anthwerp and traveled Europe extensively. I have 4 16th century prints from Martin De Vos. He was an excellent artist. He also painted in church like Michalangelo. You should be proud to know it is Dutch/Flemish and very excellent lineage to hail from.

Respectfully,

Georgina Thompson, Tampa, Fl.
