I know that it is four years since this was posted, but one never knows - you may see this.

My Vorley's are around the Holbeach area of South Lincolnshire,I have a confirmed marriage of John Vorley to Elizabeth Stubley on 30 May 1734 at Weston, and a possible earlier marriage at Holbeach to Mary Falkner in 1689. There also are references to a William Vorley interred on 26 May 1726 who was Parish Clerk of Holbeach in the 1882 transcription of the "Holbeach Parish Register of
Baptisms, Marriages, and Burials," by Rev. Grant W. Macdonald, M.A. As my Vorley's were literate, I suspect that there must be a connection with this William.
