Van Bergen of Upstate NY: 1800's to ?

I am looking for information on the Van Bergen family in upstate NY--possibly the Hudson Valley area. I do know that a Captain ? Van Bergen had at least two daughters, one was named Elizabeth Van Bergen. Cornelius Roolvink came from Rotterdam, Holland and married Elizabeth's sister and had 6? children. When his wife died Cornelius married Elizabeth (who was a widow herself--possibly Brehm was her married name). Elizabeth and Cornelius raised his kids. Cornelius' son was John Theodore Christian Vincent Girard Roolvink and "J.T" was born in 1871. I don't know when Cornelius or Elizabeth were born but it was probably between 1830-1850.

Captain ? Van Bergen, I believe, was in the NY state militia--he gave a copy of the Milita regulations for the NY militia to Cornelius with an inscription signed as "Capt. Van Bergen."

Anyone have any info please contact me by email:
