Bargen family, Sagradowka, 1800's

Looking for info on my Mennonite relatives, who currently go by last name of Bargen. I had been told the name was originally either Von or Van Bergen but when my grandfather emmigrated to Canada, he dropped the Von and changed the spelling to Bargen. His family had been living in the settlement of Altanau #9,Sagradowka, Russia, he was born there in 1908. This particular Bargen line has been traced back to one Elias Van Baergen, b. 1696, possible origins of Holland. My grand-father was Peter Bargen, b. 1908, son of Peter Bargen, b. 1885, and Elisabeth Isaak, and his father was also a Peter Bargen, b. 1862, married to a Maria Martens. All resided in the Ukraine. Peter and Elisabeth managed to escape Russia and came to Canada in 1926 with their family.
