So far, I have:
Bernhard/Barnhart Baudendistle/Bodendistle who was born on May 19, 1809 in Stadelhofen,Germany and married on June 6,1843 to the widow
Franziska/Francesca Volz. Franziska was born Jan.2, 1810 in Gamshurst. They had 6 children.
Adelgunde/Adelaide b. Jan.17, 1841
Valentin/Feltin b. Feb.17, 1844
Maria Anna/MaryAnne b. April 1, 1846
Joseph b. April 1,1846
Ignaz/Nelson b. March 11,1849
Joseph b. June 9, 1852
Both Josephs died. The first one at Aug. 7,1846 and the second one at Oct.6, 1852.
This family immigrated to Trenton,Hastings County,Ontario,Canada in 1854 with a group of Germans who were sponsored by Queen Victoria and the British Government. Does anyone know who Franzeska's first husband was and anything more about Bernhard and his line of Baudendistle's? I can fill you in on some of their history in Canada but know very little prior to their immigration.
