Volpe Family from Montella, Italy now Norristown PA

I am just starting to research my family history. My family is from Norristown.

My Great Grandfather was Gaetano, he came April 8, 1910. When Gaetano first came he went to a town near Pittsburgh, I think it was called Cornellville or something like that. How it is written makes it hard to read. This is where his brother Salvatore was living, who is listed on the Ellis Island records. Gaetano's trade was a shoemaker, I am not sure of Salvatore's trade. They then moved to Norristown PA.

My grandfather Ernesto or Ernest came to American with his mother Maria Serrbocca (not sure if spelled correctly) after his father Gaetano, so somewhere after 1910. We are not sure of the date... we can not find his info thru Ellis Island. He had 4 brothers, James, Carmen, Richard and Daniel.

Ernesto Sr.'s (my grandfather) children are Marie, Ernesto Jr. aka Junie (my father), William, Betty, Lorreta, Daniel, James, and Diane.
I don't have any other info on Gaetano... I know he had a brother Salvatore, and they both are buried at St. Patrick's cemetary in Norristown. From what I am told there are 2 different Volpe families in Norristown. Not sure.. That is all I know... I would love to find out who else there is.

Please email me... I would love to compare notes!
Thanks!
Roni Volpe
