Epsy Valentine Hailey was born on July 11 1855 to Reuben Valentine and Mary Ann Oles Valentine (who are my GGG-grandparents through their son, William John Valentine). Epsy died on Dec 25 1933 and is buried alongside her husband, Josephus Hailey, in the Belah Cemetery at Belah, LaSalle Parish, LA. Nearby are buried Epsy's mother and a number of Hailey family members. I have a digital photo of the tombstones for Josephus and Epsy and her mother, Mary Ann Valentine.

Epsy and Josephus married on Sep 26 1869 in Catahoula Parish LA. The marriage license is recorded in Catahoula Parish Marriage Book B, entry #326. The wedding was officiated by Rev. Ferdinand Snow and witnessed by W.J. Wilson, John V. Heard and James Clay White.

I've not yet uncovered information about their children.
