I found Hardy "Vallentine" and and a Benjamin "Vallentine" in the NC, Bladen Co.,1800 census: both listed on page 161 (I wonder if they are related being on the same page) and there was also a Richard "Vollentine"on page 44 NC, Bladen Co., Census (I wonder if he is related as well). I didn't understand the age enumerations however.
Any info.Re: Hardy Vollentine/Vallentine, etc., would be appreciated.
