Hello -

I came across your posting while researching Line Draper Bloom a Belgian painter who taught the Conceptual Artist Joseph Kosuth from 1955-1962. Kosuth is also from Toledo, Ohio and would have been 10-17 years old at the time.

I am taking a graduate art history course at UCSD and am currently preparing a research paper on Kosuth. Given his study of painting at such as early age, I'm guessing he was a talented student, yet, he went on to give up formal artistic practices in favor of Conceptual Art.

Any information you might have as to whether Line Draper Bloom was indeed the teacher of Kosuth and any other insights about him as an art student would be a great interest.

Thanks,
Lauren Jackson
