Sue,
I do have all the information on my mother and her eleven siblings, although I don't think we share a connection with the two girls you've mentioned. We've just recently found that my G.GM changed their name from Voight to Vaught, this happened in 1900 and my GF had always went by Vaught as did all his children who are from Shelby County. Our family story says that there were three Voight boys that came to Texas from Alabama. They stopped off in Louisiana and on of them stole a horse and got in trouble with the law, this is why they went onto Texas. They stopped in Nacogdoces, Tx. One of the brother's went back east, one went west and the other, Peter Voight, my G.G. GF stayed in the Nacogdoches area. Family story says Peter's brother's were Jim and John. None of this story has been proven, does any of this sound familiar? Thanks for you help.
Troyce
