2. SAMUEL LOUIS2 VOIGHT (BENJAMIN1) was born March 11, 1851 in Westmoreland County, PA, and died November 27, 1930 in Du Quoin, Illinois. He married (1) MAZIE BLACKBURN Abt. 1873 in Pennsylvania. She was born Abt. 1851, and died 1878 in Du Quoin, Illinois. He married (2) MARY BROWN May 20, 1882 in Perry County, Illinois, daughter of THOMAS BROWN and ISIBELL BLACKBORN. She was born 1859 in Pennsylvania, and died June 20, 1945 in Du Quoin, Illinois.

Louis Voight married Mary Brown on May 20, 1882, License #12, Volume P, page 118, Perry Co, ILL.
Obituary notice in DuQuoin Call newspaper stated that Samuel was born in Westmoreland county, PA and had lived in Perry County, Illinois for 54 years. He was survived by three sisters and a brother: Mrs. C.B. Fetterer of Greensburg, PA; Mrs Amanda Shirley of Beatty Station, PA; Mrs. Huffman of Latrole, PA; and John Voight of Greensburg, PA.

Arch Voight's wife, Lucinda Center, was the daughter of George Center and Mary Josephine Eubanks. Mary is a granddaughter of Joel C. Eubanks who is a half-brother to William H. Eubanks JR. William is the grandfather of Mary Logan Eubanks, the wife of Robert Soper and mother-in-law of Arch's half-sister Kittie.
