My, that was fast!! Thanks a million.I learned of the Vogt line when a great aunt of mine, visiting her daughter in Enid, OK, was approached by a woman (a Vogt) who recognized a relative by the eyes.I met that aunt only a few times & don't remember her eyes, but one of her sisters had the very black eyes.By the time the line got to my mother, the eyes were brown, and mine are blue.
Maybe you can help on another line!Michael & Elizabeth Shively Vogt's daughter Susan (Susannah) Vogt married Andrew George in 1820 at the Vogt homestead in PA. They moved to Hancock Co., Ohio soon after marriage. NOBODY SEEMS TO KNOW WHERE ANDREW CAME FROM.NO PARENTS, NO NOTHING!!Does your family know? Jennie
