Edward Morgan Voelker ("Morgan") was the son of Edward F. Voelker and Jennie Rice Morgan. Edward F. was b. abt 1871/72 and died on 15 Jan. 1929 in South Orange, Essex Co., NJ. Edward F. was Jennie Rice Morgan's second husband (and, I suppose, must have been her heart's true love). Edward had been the family chaffeur. I am not sure if he had been the chauffeur for the Morgan family or for Jennie and her first husband Jay Stanley Foster, whom she married in 1903 and later divorced.

Jennie was the daughter of Richard Jessup Morgan and Jennie J. Rice. Jennie Rice Morgan was born 8 Jul 1880 in Saranac, NY, and died 17 June 1934 in Tucson, AZ.

Richard Jessup Morgan was the son of Charles W. Morgan who was the son of Charles Morgan, the steamship and railroad magnate. Richard Jessup Morgan inherited a sizable amount from his grandfather's estate so, yes, Edward F. Voelker married into money.
