I would look at the 1880, 1990, and 1910 census records. They all give the age and place of birth. The 1900 census records also give the month of birth and sometimes even the day (though they can be inaccurate). The 1900 and 1910 censuses also give the year of immigration and you then may be able to find his naturalization records. Hope this helps.
