Ferdinand Voelker would have been my Great grandfather. His son Charles Wesley Voelker was my grandfather. Ferdinand was born abt. 1844 in Saxony Germany. He was married to a Sarah Ellen Nanney. They are buried in a private cemetary in the middle of a field somewhere around Perryville. I have a cousin who has seen the cemetary. It has been a few years and I do not know if it still exist. At the time she saw it it had a small fence around it. The other children having been born to Ferdinand are (birthdates were figured from a census I found and are approximates) Martha E. b.1867, Josepht(Joseph) b.20 September 1868, Charles Wesley b.06 March 1870 d.18 September 1948 He was married to Ella Artemis Hutson., Mary E. b.1874,Beede (?sp.) b.1876, Lawrina (Lawrence) b. 1879. My grandparents moved from Perry County to Mississippi County, Missouri and settled in a small town named Bertrand. My grandmother died in 1931. My grandparents had 7 Children, six lived to adulthood. They are all gone now. I hope this helps. I have just started trying to look into genealogy. How are you connected to Ferdinand Voelker? I can get all the information on Charles Children and their children if you want it. Another of Ferdinand's Children moved to Scott County, Missouri. I believe that was Joseph and he is buried at Sikeston, Mo. Hope to hear from you.
