I was wondering if anyone has any more information on this family. I think I have got as far as I can without a trip to Devon...
Robert Vodden married (March 28th 1808) Elizabeth Symons in Alverdiscott (aka Alscott), Devon, England
four (known) children, with baptism dates below:
Robert (December 31 1815)
John (May 24 1818)
James (February 25 1821)
Thomas(February 22 1824)
I am assuming there may be other siblings born before 1813 which is when the Devon Family History Society transcript of baptisms runs to.
My line descends through James Vodden.
