Thomas had General John Vivian of the English army who married Mary - died 1670 and I have his descendents down to me. There was a Vivian who was a Roman Official or officer of Nero in 54 BC. Vivians came to England during the Roman Conquest (43 AD), one of the few known links during the conquest but I haven't found the linkage yet. Another branch went to France and became the House of Vivian of Cornwall and later went to England with William the Conqueror (1066) Wish I had more firm information. Rod
