David -

Hadn't checked this message board for years, but was reminded of it, and thought I'd check in with you & see whether you ever found a definitive answer on the Vivion/Baber question. (Whether Lucy was a Vivion or a Baber --- or both ;-) --- or whether she was indeed the mother of all of Matthew Davis's children.

Per Bettye Doucet (see elsewhere on this Vivion forum), there was another (?) Lucy Vivion in Clarke Co., KY, during approx. the same time period, who married a John Pemberton & then moved to KY & then MO.

Nothing that I saw in her info seemed to match any of ours, except the name Lucy Vivion. Vivion wouldn't seem to be a very common name, but I suppose there could have been two of them in the same place at approx. the same time. But one would think they might have been related! (Aunt & niece or whatever)

I'm going to write back to Bettye, but it doesn't sound like a link.

Judith
